250GB Harddrive Not Being Sold Separately

Post Rating

September 16, 2009 – Perhaps the most enticing item from the Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360 bundle announced yesterday is the new 250GB harddrive that it comes with. Currently, the highest limit size available for retail is 120GB. But those hoping Microsoft will eventually release a separate 250GB harddrive to sell will just have to keep waiting.

Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb clarified during a promotional video, bluntly saying “This harddrive is not being sold separately.”

Of course, this doesn’t mean Microsoft won’t eventually upgrade the current Xbox 360 harddrives, as they have done so in the past going from 20GB to 120GB over the past four years.
